As Christmas nears, we’re invited into one of Advent’s most sacred practices: preparation. Just as there was no room for Christ in Bethlehem, our own hearts can easily become crowded with hurry, fear, and distraction. Yet Jesus still comes near, asking simply for space. Preparing Him room means quieting the noise, releasing control, and removing the obstacles that keep us from His presence. This Advent, may the Holy Spirit help you make room, not just a corner, but your whole heart, so that grace, peace, and love can take their rightful place within you.
