Advent is more than a countdown to Christmas, it’s an invitation to pause and remember that we live between two arrivals: when Christ came before and when He will come again. In this opening reflection, we’re invited to breathe deeply, open Scripture, and see the beauty of God’s unfolding plan through the eyes of Matthew and Luke, one revealing the faithfulness of God through generations, the other showing His heart for ordinary people. Together, their stories remind us that our waiting is never wasted, because the same God who was faithful then is faithful now. As we begin this journey, may we slow our pace, awaken our wonder, and make room for the God who is still arriving, still redeeming, and still writing His story in us today.
