In a culture obsessed with self-reliance and independence, we explore the awe-inspiring truth that God needs nothing. This is the aseity of God—His self-existence and self-sufficiency. He wasn’t created. He lacks nothing. And yet, out of His fullness, He chose to create and love us. God doesn’t need our worship, our work, or our worthiness—but He wants us. That’s grace. This episode calls us to embrace our dependence on the only One who is truly independent and to lay down self-sufficiency in exchange for trusting the Source who supplies every need.
