In a world filled with images competing for our attention, Scripture points us to the one image that truly reveals God. Colossians 1:15 declares that Jesus is “the image of the invisible God.” In this session, we explore the powerful meaning behind this word, icon, and how Jesus perfectly reveals the character, nature, and heart of God. While human beings are made in God’s image, Jesus uniquely stands as the exact representation of the Father, the visible expression of the invisible God. When we look to Christ, we see the clearest picture of who God is and what He is like.
