What causes a man to go from being a Pharisee of all Pharisees, chief of sinners, and persecutor of Christians to a disciple of Jesus? In Philippians 3, Paul tells us himself in verse 8, “For His sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ.” Paul reoriented his entire life around Jesus, who wholly changed him.
