Now we begin the book of Ephesians itself, beginning with chapter one. Dr. Rene unpacks Paul’s reminder that redemption—being bought back through the blood of Jesus—is at the very heart of the gospel. Both Jew and Gentile, male and female, must come to God the same way: through Christ’s finished work on the cross. Dr. Rene highlights the spiritual blessings we’ve been given, the Father’s unconditional love, and the lavish grace freely poured out on all who belong to Him. At the center of it all is this truth: we are chosen, adopted, and redeemed to live as one body in Christ.
