After decades of worship, fasting, and prayer, the prophetess Anna finally saw what her heart had long awaited, the Messiah in her midst. Instead of letting loss harden her, she turned her sorrow into devotion and her waiting into witness. We’re invited to follow Anna’s example: to live in continual communion with God and to “speak of Him” wherever we go. This Advent, may our faithfulness give birth to testimony, and may our words, like Anna’s, proclaim the hope that has come in Jesus.
