The thing about revival is that it often comes from unexpected beginnings. God uses hopeless situations to reveal His all encompassing love and glory. In the 70’s, it was hippies—young people strung out on drugs and desperately needing to be loved—who were often pushed to the side by the religious Christians of the time. This raises an interesting question: who are the hippies of today, and what would our response be, if one day, they begin coming to church?
