Nurturing Your New Nature
  • 1 - N - New

God created each and every person for a purpose before time began. Each new thing, however, must be nurtured in order to grow. The seed that has been planted in the ground takes time, nourishment, and care, to become what it was intended to be all along.

  • 2 - E - Educated

Why is it so important to be educated in the Word? In order to speak and bring life to the Kingdom of God, we first must learn His language. We learn to speak His Truth by reading His Word.

  • 3 - W - World View

Every citizen needs to know the bylaws of their own country. As citizens of Heaven, we are called to see the world around us from a Kingdom perspective.

  • 4 -N - Navigate

Jesus uses us wherever we are in life, doing whatever we’re already doing. Jesus knew Peter was a fisherman, so He used Peter’s skill—Peter became a fisher of men. Jesus will do the same thing with us! Not only that, but He will use the areas we struggle to navigate to make us stronger. He will b...

  • 5 - U - Understanding

  • 7 - T - Thorns and Thistles

Every principle of the Kingdom of God was laid out in the beginning and can be found in Genesis 1, 2, & 3. After The Fall, the earth was cursed with thorns and thistles, and people with fear and anxieties—which choke out the Words of Life and prevent us from stewarding as we were created to do.

  • 8 - U - Undercurrent & Undergrowth

An undercurrent happens just beneath the surface of water. We should strive to have, in our lives, an undercurrent of the Holy Spirit, moving within us and praying through us. When you’re going through difficulties, allow the water to be stirred by a move of God.

  • 9 - R - Resilience

Resilience means the capacity to withstand or recover quickly from difficulties. It’s a ‘coming up swinging’ kind of attitude after being pushed down. God made us in such a way that He renews and rebuilds us. It’s never too late to find restoration in Him.

  • 10 - E - Endurance

Sometimes the Lord will give you a new race to run, and when He does, He will equip you to run it well. This may look like agonizing through difficult things to get to the finish line. Fix your eyes on the Author and Perfecter of your life, and you will find that you can do all things through He ...
