If you can’t understand something, you can’t hold onto it. In the information age in which we live, computers do all the processing for us, so we don’t need to fully understand the concepts. But this is dangerous! We can’t just read the Bible to read the Bible—it’s essential that we dig deeper to gain a full understanding of it. At the end of the day, if we don’t know how to walk out life day to day, we don’t really have an understanding of the Truth.

6 - R - Reefs & Roots
God may use a terrible thing to refine us into who He created us to be. When we hit a reef or go through a hard time, God will guide us through that and use it to grow us. In fact, He sent His Spirit to be with us and within us. He will equip us to navigate the reefs.

7 - T - Thorns and Thistles
Every principle of the Kingdom of God was laid out in the beginning and can be found in Genesis 1, 2, & 3. After The Fall, the earth was cursed with thorns and thistles, and people with fear and anxieties—which choke out the Words of Life and prevent us from stewarding as we were created to do.

8 - U - Undercurrent & Undergrowth
An undercurrent happens just beneath the surface of water. We should strive to have, in our lives, an undercurrent of the Holy Spirit, moving within us and praying through us. When you’re going through difficulties, allow the water to be stirred by a move of God.
